Custom Post Types
In this video we will discuss custom post types. Custom post types allow you to have the same benefits as a post (like what we saw in video 3 of the series) but, also allows you to have more control of the type of information collected and is usually a very specific type of reoccurring information. For example we usually make Testimonial custom post types (example we use in this video). This is because it is a reoccurring piece of information that may require specific information like company name, date, location etc. By being a custom post we can organize and filter these testimonials just like we can with the built in post feature of WordPress.
